All - thanks for the comments.
Jackson - I will be in touch if my decal attempts don't work out. I have made some before, so I will give this a try.

Good job on repaint. Are you going to do the tail section in red also not yellow?

I am not well versed in the FG markings. I just went by this picture from the 56th FG information and a model making markings sheet.

I like the way this one turned out. 56th FG had some different paint schemes and always nice to recreate. Good suggestion to put another decal on top to reduce red through. Only other option is to paint white circle in and cut only figure out of decal and add that. I know its extra work but whatever is airbrushed or painted always looks better. Very thin black outline willl be tough also

I have not appied the clear, so if you can send another nose art, I will surely place it to help hide the red. I contemplated for a while before placing this one, but was just to scared that I would get paint outside the limit of the decal. Other than that everything worked well and will look great when clear coated.

will send you a couple more to help...this a common problem with any decals when used over dark paint and does not diminish yer work in any way whatsoever...be sure to micro-sol each one to get them to lay down good...probably won't completely cover the red but will reduce bleedthru quite a bit...I also would use a matte sealer such as dull-coat spray to seal and not a gloss clear....will get them in mail next few days...TJJ
