Im working on a Rc spitfire made from Foam core... I recently have learned to fly rc... Im still very amateur at it though so tips and tricks help :D lol

But I crashed my Flyzone Cessna 182 (Due to bad landing gear placement) so I figured scale up a 1/32 spitfire and make it out of foam... it has the same wingspan and will ruffly have ruffly the same weight so hopefully the engine included will be able to power it :D As I have no idea how to rig up the electronics of a rc plane... but we all start somewhere... Im just glad I can fly! :D and as for landing I will worry about it when I have to lol...

Leave your input :D

It is exactly 2.5 times bigger than the 1/32 plane giving it a 36'' wingspan.

Good to see you again, Flyboy!
Glad you have been keeping busy creating with XD and not shooting out the neighbor's windows with your airsoft AK-47.

How did you make the rocket trail and bomb load droping?
Looks great!

Thanks.
For the rockets I cut off the pegs/mounts that stick into the win and glued them the same distance apart on a long piece of coat hanger wire. Then unrolled cotton swabs, sprayed them black and stretched them a bit after they dried to reveal the white... I fed them on kinda like a Shish-KaBob for the smoke trail. The rocket just gets stuck on the tip of the wire (You may have to enlarge the hole in the back of the rocket). Then just stick it on your plane, step back, and say holy ---- that looks GREAT for 10 mins of work!
BTW leave the little black tube on the rocket holders not the rocket. :D And the bombs... Just tied them together with fishing line.

Try a 10" clear plastic flower pot liner under the parachute. My son is in the 173rd and says it gives the perfect look. Have fun.
