recently I started collecting and painting Warhammer 40k inperial guards.
They are close to 1/48 scale. So I thought I would find some old beat up, abused lionel train sets and build an Imerial Guard armor train. 1st thing is to find an old lionel train set, Not old as in antique, old as in you got it for the kids and they abused the heck out of it. Rowdowser will like this.
Let me what you guys think. As i get started i will post pics as i progress. :lol:

that sounds real, i love warhamer 40K
I have multiple 6000 Pt Armies (space wolves, Chaos, Ultra marines Custom, Dark Angels, Eldar and and unopened unpainted Tyranid). I only play second edition rules tho because the newer versions overly simplified and nerfed the game. that does sound cool and you could use it to haul some Leman Russ Tanks. I would love to see pictures.
