German Bunker Custom 1/18

Post by TOOL » Fri Mar 12, 2010 6:26 pm

Something I have been working on and off for a year now. The bunker complex is about half way finished and then I need to work on the artillary. THe bunker is made from shaped styrofoam covered by plaster. I know artillary in the pics doesn't belong but the 88 isn't quite beefy enough any suggestions. I was inspired by a guy off of Dynamic Dioramas who did a sweet layout of this on a huge cliff. I hope to finish by months end and will repost a proper looking dio.

Awesome...
Ditto what he said... 8) It looks very much like pictures I've seen of the "Atlantic Wall" fortifications along the Nazi occupied French coast. Great work. 8)

That is great, I have thought about something like that if I ever have the time.

that's really nice. I guess you used sheet styrofoam cut to shape and glued together then sanded? Nice job.
