Looks like you didn't waste any time fixing this old bird up. All you need now is the Swastika for the tail. Love the canopy mod too. Great job and thanks for sharing.

Very nice flyboy.
These 1:18 do make a terrific base to show your modeling skills,and make a fantastic model from one that is lacking some details,and paint quality.

I love the canopy idea. But think about a change of that black 21st thread against a wire. I think it is looking much better with that little detail.

crazykraut has a good point though, piano wire is the way to go
