I was thinking of removing the zimmerit off of a FOV vehicle.
What should I use? Does anything work besides the dremel?
What tools work for removing zimmerit?

Zimmerit tool
The problem with the zimmerit on the FOV vehicles is that, unlike someone adding putty to their model to make zimmerit, FOV's zimmerit is part of the mold, so it's just as much a part of the tank as the rest of the pieces. Knowing that, you're going to have to grind it/sand it off. The plastic parts may give you some options for what to use to do this, but it's the metal parts that won't give you many options. If you do come across anything that works effectively let us know, b/c when I used the dremel there was a lot of work to the task, between the ease at which it pitted plastic services (not the desired result), and the amount of elbow grease required to get the metal zimmerit off (I think it took me like 10-12 hours of work to get it looking the way i wanted).
