Alumilite casting kit

Post by mediump » Sun May 17, 2009 7:30 pm

I picked up an Alumilite casting kit at Hobby Lobby not too long ago.
The first two things I wanted to do were fallschirmjager helmets and us 105 HEAT shells for my M7.
These are my best results out of three atempts so far...

I got some of their black resin. it is good resin but hard to use. Because of the opequeness of the resin you can't see air bubbles and brush them out. I got about 1 out of 3 pours.
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller
