After watching The ALCAN Highway (Modern Marvels, The History Channel), I decided to put some of my 1/16th vehicles together under that theme.
The Jeep is the Danbury Mint version, out-of-the-box.
The smaller crawler is a Cat 22 by Norscot, re-painted.
The dozer is an International TD-14 by SpecCast, out-of-the-box.
The International dump truck with Baker plow is by Die-Cast Promotions, re-painted.
The Ford stake truck is a Highway 61, re-painted.
The Chevy log truck is also a Highway 61, formerly the fire truck. (they used many logs for cordury roads through swamps).
Ertl made a 1:16 road grader from that period, but they are hard-to-find and expensive. I had to pass on one on Ebay after it hit $200.

Thanks for the pics! That was very timely for me, because yesterday I was looking at a 1/16 R/C Tank site and someone had the Ford stake truck and I was wondering who made it and where to get one. Guess I'll have to take advantage of the sale.
Nice to see a collection of U.S. WWII support vehicles!
