Post by Cabe » Thu Feb 19, 2009 3:45 pm

this little set is going up on eBay now. It is and Ultimate Soldier hetzer re paint with it own display diorama that I built ON TOP of a 21stC base that came with the hetzer. Now the hetzer attaches great and nifty little diorama is space saving as well as sturdy
if you like these well enough to buy, get with me soon

The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

Nice work Cabe
The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

thanks
i whipped this out in between packing/shipping breaks. I have this and custom work people have sent so when I do these I work fast, this one, after attachment of wooden board and waiting for the "Mold a scene" plaster to dry took about 2 hours maybe. I then went with what I remembered from the old "Monogram diorama tips" that were included with all the old Monogram 1:32 kits in the 70's that were so bad ass. (still find em on eBay for cheap if your lucky, but usually off the hook expensive if seller know what they have and another buyer spots it) I think they were all by Sheppard Paine

dead leaves = oregano out of the shaker

hedgerow thick vines and general foliage (wanted to go thicker and really build it up)=
roots from a dead potted plant that were washed in sink and allowed to dry out
