FOV 1/72 Panzer IV repaint...

Post by ostketten » Tue Jan 27, 2009 12:25 pm

Well, not really a repaint but a modification to the existing paintjob. There has been some previous discussions about the FOV 1/72 Panzer IV.... many people felt it is a nice little tank, but the paint left something to be desired. Well...I was sitting around here on a snowy day with not much else to do so I decided to see if I could improve the paintjob on the FOV Panzer IV... here are some "before and after pics", what do you guys think...?? This was pretty simple, took me all of about half an hour including brush cleanup... I think it looks better now and the little bit of time and effort it took was well worth it. BTW, I used that highly advanced and versatile artists tool the Q-Tip to do the earth brown camo pattern.....LOL  8) Click the images to enlarge....
