Finally finished my motorcycle figure, a very old project.
and threw together a paratrooper...

Peoples skill in customizing and especially repainting figures really impresses me. As a person who makes a habit of repainting a plane in 1 or 2 days, I simply can't bring myself to a place where I think I could be anywhere as successful or happy with a figure project.

My hat is off you you guys who can do this work. Very cool stuff!

Thanks to Fritzkrieg for the tutorial - I had to try it out...
here is my attempt
BTW while trying to make 2 of these DAK (short pants)
I ended up making several other customs in the process.
work in progress - I still have some painting to do on them.

Nice job. I'm glad I was able to help someone with that tutorial. The Bare Chested Marine is a neat idea. For my bare chested DAK I used an Anakin Skywalker Torso. I had to transplant the forearm from a Mutt fig, to replace the mechanical arm. I took some engineering to get it to work right.

Nice work, I can't wait to see more.
