2 of 4 paintings commissioned for Gearbox Software PC game "Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway" release party.
both are around 5x5 feet.
The other 2 are nice too. I need to photograph the one of paratroopers and Dakotas for Market Garden, the painting is about 8x8 feet and all of them hang in gearbox studios now, so i need to go by and get my photo.
The other was from a live nude (ok topless) pinup fetish model (obviously will not post here) named Angela Ryan here in Dallas. She was dressed as a nose art girl and I was to paint here live at the party, well you can imagine how things went at 12:30 when the topless redhead walked out to be painted in front of over 1,000 drunk video game designers.... amateur night was in force

well these 2 i do have photographed and they came out well for my first 2 tank pieces instead of my usual airplanes.

Ok, both my girlfriend and I want to know more about this story. It has all the makings of a Will Ferrell movie... Or a Penthouse letter... But either way it sounds interesting.

well that's the rough part, photobucket will take down any nude images i put up for my art portfolio. I cam into photobucket after my 1st major upload to find they had erased my pencil and charcoal drawings from my FIGURE DRAWING/ LIFE DRAWING CLASS. I wrote them to say what gives? And they states the guidelines of objectionable material, and I said "hmm odd its objectionable when the gallery was set to private and was not public only accessible to me..."
I understand they do not want to be a repository for porn sites, but come on these were freaking drawings for education (THEY HAD GRADES ON THEM)....pencil drawing. That hasn't been considered objectionable since Bonaparte was about.

So even if I could, I guess I could blot out the top of her chest and upload to photobucket then post here but is just absurd

all I can say is the event caused a situation in which i was not noticed to be part of the proceedings at all.
as people leaned in in asking Angela to strike this pose or that and taking pictures, then the "anything you can do i can do better, then suddenly if you can't beat them join them drunk girl in the crowd" crossed the ropes to start posing with Angela and my life drawing/painting quickly went to a live show for the crowd, thank god i had photographed the pose the night before just in case this kind of hijacking occurred, and it did on many levels. The organizers later said it was good we started late, instead of 8:30 we didn't get out there until 12am, and it was a near riot when they started telling people to back up and get out of my light.
Funny, one thing you cannot do it tell a drunk guy to in the presence of a beautiful woman to do anything harshly, it makes him look foolish and looking foolish in front of Mrs "gottagethernumber" ,makes them turn into obstinate idiots.
They become argumentative over the obvious and almost violent . It wasn't a good scene
