The 88 will be cool I will get some. But please put that thing in a Tiger II and let me have it. Kind of sounds like an old Laugh Inn joke doesn't it. Sock it to me baby. :shock:

Series 2 Figures

Post by normandy » Thu Aug 02, 2007 1:50 pm

I asked back on the 25th if the series 2 figures were going to be just a TRU thing or would walmart get them as well? Today on my ride home I stopped at a local walmart and found 4 Series 2 Sgt. Otto Wilndorff figures! :) This fig looks great.
I didn't see any S 2 DAK, I'll check in a few days.

Target has intermittently had a number of XD items on their website, from the Marines to some of the aircraft and various 32X items. But they are sold through the website only, and not available in-store. Also, their prices are more in line with hobby shops and e-tailers, which makes me suspect that they may be partnered with one on those items, the same way Amazon partners with TRU and other specialty retailers.

TKO, Do you have any intel on the 3 1:18th Wilndorff figures? On Aug. 2nd I found series 2 Otto Wilndorff at a TRU in my AO, Today Aug. 5th I found a Series 3 Otto Wilndorff all 3 have different camo pattern smocks. Hair color and skin tone are different on all 3.
Are these figures being made in more than one location? and is that why there is a difference Or is there a plan to do many German Camo patterns for this figure?

TKO,
Do you have any information about the ME-262's?
We havent even seen the paint master for the NF 262.
And what happened to the Mig-21?

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but with all these new DAK troops running around now I have a personal stake in such a request. Here goes;

TKO, is there any chance at all that 21C might be willing to release heads only packs? I only have 12 DAK bubbas for the time being, but it's been a bit if a chore to locate different heads to keep things interesting. I've only been able to come up with 5 thus far, and I'd love to add some S-2 or even S-3(knock on wood :wink: ) DAK troops to my collection. Perhaps introducing a generic scarf covered face would be an option(a la Storm Troopers or Cobra Infantry).
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.
