As one of the Brit`s here, can you tell me If BBI plan on making there 1/18th line More available over here & also More Upto date too?

Agreed I can find some BBI 1/18th over here But there`s been nothing new out over here for a long time bar except the BBI Modern British troops (which were just rehash US troops in a nice DPM paintjob ).

I`d love to see the WWII line come out over here & on that.

Q,
In the WWII line you planning on bringing out 1/18 German troops & vehicles in the future?

Thank`s & hope to see the 1/18th line get stronger even though 1/6th is still well liked.

Thats good news!!!! I haven't heard anything on the Red Devil repaint in quite some time. I was fearing the worst. I hope Mikes reply does in fact mean that the project is a go. I'm on board for at least a couple. I could never have too many BUGS!!!!

For Mike

I hope BBI will be offering the new WWII 1/18 scale figures to BadCat Toys soon? I can only get BBI figures by ordering them on-line, My local TRU don't carry BBI figures because of the french.

Thank for your time.

it's nothing to do with the french. 1/18 scale BBI stuff is not sold at any TRU in Canada. Period. :x

So that means that BadCat Toys will get them sometime in the future? I hope!
Now this makes it even harder to get BBI figures, The Paras where the 1st BBI figures that I have ever gotten and I would like to own even more. Im so imprest by the Paras that I need more!! Im hope this isn't going to turn into a mission impossable for me to get the new BBI figures.

Mike- Im in the dark please show me some light.

Thanks

I'm hoping like the paras they go to small retailers.....I can't be running around building up an Army...I need a bunch in one swoop

When I was at WM in Toronto a few weeks ago I thought all the toys had both languages on the box? Maybe it was just some of the games, etc...
It was interesting to see how much less emphasis there was on military stuff in general in the toy dept. compared to the States.

Some stuff has french on it, most doesn't. I think in Quebec it is law that all products must have french on the packaging....not 100% sure. It used to be law for all of Canada but i think that has been changed, or at least a blind eye is turned towards it, so now much of the packaging does not have french on it. I think in Quebec it is still law that shops and stores CAN'T have English on their signs, French only. But that is another matter...

The problem is that distributors or retailers dont think there is enough interest in XD, Elite Force etc in Canada to warrant bringing it here.

Yes the military toy selection is disappearing fast up here..

Hi Mike,

Did I happen to tell you that I'd like an A-10 in 1:18? Oh, I did? Nevermind.

there should be no reason why BadCat will not have these figures unless they decide not to carry them...they are readily available to all US distributors.

for Steel Bonnet
The UK is a bit of agony for us...we keep telling our Distributors ( Corgi) that there is a market but they seem reluctant to support us. Out total line is available to them and they are the ones who decide what to carry.

As for German and vehicles...standard answer is "wait and see"

So not to really ask, but should I be sending him a few more hints for THIS CHRISTMAS?

But to answer your question...

Not only have I told him, I'm on the phone with him everyday. Plus I've got his Miss'us locked in the basement for "insurance purposes" if you get my drift,, if you catch my meaning.

If an A-10 showed up in the near future I would probably think Mike was Santa Claus. This fall has seen the harvest of a bumper crop and I could not ask for more. By the way, if you are listening Santa, a Typhoon and Hurricane would compliment my other toys.

Hi Mike

I've been a really really good boy this year I have done every thing my wife has asked (whipped) cut the grass, painted the out side of the house put a new air vent on the roof, pick up the baby every day after work. Is this enough to have Santa bring me some BBI WWII 1/18 British figures?

Mike

Just recently, many aviation fans from all over the world came to oceana airshow in va beach, to see the FINAL demo of the F-14 Tomcat.

And what better way to celebrate than with a 1/18 toy!

I have been good and Santa ought to know many of us want this.....

So....any hint of an F-14 yet?
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

Thanx!

Nice to learn that you are on the phone daily with Santa...I'm impressed!
Not many people can claim to speak with the man himself.
So if that is the case then you are all set and have no need for help from anyone else.

for Quixote 511
I recommend you talk to Jericoeagle...he seems to have an "in" with Santa.

For Sgt. Saunders
Same advice to you as Quixote 511...don't tell me ...tell Jericoeagle!
I'm off the hook for the rest of the year "

Amen, a 1:18 Victory 103 "Mutha" would be the perfect way to memorialize the final flight of such an incredible aircraft, and the repaint possibilities are endlessssssssssss :-)

Well...everyone needs a little help now and then. Besides, I'm always on hold. I hate it since they automated the phone system up there, how many times can a guy hear Burl Ive's "Have a holly Jolly Christmas!"?

And talk about Ms. Claus, god she eats like you don't know what! I think I'm doing the Fat Man a favor. Now that I think about it. He never once asked to speak to her? Humm I may have made a Tactical Blunder here. well maybe I'll get my A-10 out of Pity. At least I'll get one.

And Mike if everyone has to ask me now, can I have your say at BBI then? You know with the high cost of Elf labor Santa does a lot of out-sourcing.

yes there is but I will need to check when it is shipping..are you in the US?

for Jericoeagle 1
keep up the good work and just keep on hanging on. My say at bbi does not count for much and I know all about out-sourcing...we are in the toy business remember.

for birddog
see above and keep honing on "

Thank`s Mike.

I know i have & numerous other Brits have tried to convince Corgi they open to more of your wonderfull stuff.

Alas they don`t listern to the customers, they don`t listern to the manufacturers.

Without being too political, any chance you could bin Corgi & find someone else who`s more ammenable to providing a better service to us Brits?

Thank`s again.

Question for Mike:

A while back we saw the photos of those 2 beautiful P-51's with exclusive Aussie paint schemes. You mentioned that Bad Cat had agreed to sell these aircraft if they could be aquired.

Any status on whether or not these two Aussie mustangs will find their way to B.C.A.?

Cripes-A-Mighty and Hurry Home Honey will be delivered this Friday. Can't wait.

Thanks,
John
One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!
