Hopefully we'll be getting some of those here in Miami. My WMs still have BF-109s and P-47s, that's all.

First of all JimBob its ok to talk about the Corsairs. Even though we got a detailed BBI Corsair we still have to thank 21st for coming out with theirs first. And even though the 21st Corsair isnt as detailed as the BBI Corsair they still are great F4U's to have and the 21st Bunker Hill version ROCKS like hell in my book.

For Digger: The new tool P-51's may be at your WM but in my state they have YET to get the Bunker Hill Corsairs! So it will probably take 100 years before a WM in my state gets them thats why I will have to order one online!

I have a few question.

The first is there any chance of seeing some of the first 1:18 figures again at retail? You know the (German Infantry, US Infantry, etc.). These only really came out at TRU and we didn't have a TRU nearby and so I missed out on them. Or if we can't get these figures again any chance of get Improved verisons of them.

Also any chance of some Afrika Corps figures? Maybe even a Rommel? That would be Godly.

I was thinking the same but more for the Fallshirmjager troops -
First they came and went so fast -I never saw them in the store -

They would be very popular and have already proved they were fast sellers.

TKO, I've got a :?: about the new Battle of the Buldge figures... "the next wave to invade toy shelves". Will these figures be sold only at walmart or will we be able to get them online? Whats this "not heavily produced" that s*#%s. The series 2 figs Germans in open and closed coats never made it to my AO, had to find them on the net. Well hope to see them soon. Oh and that King Tiger sounds fantastic...see if you can get 21st to release it uh...say spring 06  Just kidding. Thanks so much for all the intel, your doing a great job.

I could go for that too. I don't have them either, but I really don't have an excuse for not owning them like I do Series 1. We did get them here, I was just into GI Joe at the time and they only got a passive glance in the toy aisle.

But any German Army builders being brought back out would be awesome. Maybe even in a boxset of some kind.

sorry guys, I don't have any pics for the final ABTF product yet. -sorry

As for the Me-110. You guys are correct that Roy had mentioned that in one of the interviews. I honestly don't know what the status of that aircraft is at this time. I doubt that any of us will see that in 06.

New P-51's, and Avengers, F-86 & Mig-15 have the 21st team pretty busy.

I will try to do some poking around though.

Here are some quick answers... Platoon stuff was in the works during Toy Fair. I think 21st decided against showing the status as they felt they simply weren't as ready as the other products that were shown. The show was more of a "on the water" show than it was a prototype show.

That said, I did speak with 21st earlier in the week and there has been some more progress with the figures. It think they might release some pics to me soon. For now that is all I know about this line.

As for the Me-110. You guys do have a good memory. Roy did mention it in an earlier interview. Due to some of the more recent developments in the industry as well as other considerations 21st is putting most of it's product development as "black projects". So I am not even remotely sure of what that status might be. One example if the F-86 / Mig-15...

You guys might have noticed no talk of the F-86 or Mig-15 from AREA-21. It is for a reason, I am told. From what I can gather 21st is further along on these than people might think. 06 is looking pretty good.

I look forward to the first release pics of the F-86 and Mig-15. I hope we see something soon, you guys will be the first to know.

Sorry- forgot to comment on Afrika Corps. figs.

I personally would love to see some! I think they might be a strong consideration in the future.

I have been told that the "ground pounders" should be quite pleased later in the year. People are really diggin the OMG and new BOB figs! Mine have all dried up in my area.

Do you know how many of the new BOB 2 figures were made??
I have not seen any in my area and everyone seems to be having a hard time finding them too!

These look like the ultimate army building figure, but can't build an army if there aren't any troops!

Give us a little info on this, please.

I am not positive on the actual numbers for the BOB 2 figs. I think it is run that is slightly smaller than normal. These figs are re-treads of older molds and whatnot, which means 21st didn't feel these would as popular as a full run of all new figs. The BOB2 figs are really made for the "army builders" / collectors.

These have just begun to release so distribution my be spotty or weak in some areas still. I think you will see them within the next 3-4 weeks if haven't yet.

The million dollar question is what will 21st do next for figures? My conctact says something is in the works. I get the impression that the fiures have been selling well so I think something new might be on its way.

The MM set did very well. I don't even think there are any left! So you would think that would translate into future product placement into TRU.... But I think TRU has declined? For now I would plan on not seeing anything soon in TRU.

Too bad! I really didn't mind shopping there! Oh well, looks like Wally World and On-line sales will get my money!
