Admiral Toys Information Q&A (Jason)
Jason, glad to hear things are going well with your F-86. Any news or updates you can share on your upcoming 1/72 scale Panzer III? Also, can you tell us a little bit about the steps you took in chosing this mold, conducting research, etc.? I'm really looking forward to this release and hats off to you and your associates for going this direction as opposed to most companies who tend to crank out the "same old, same old" (Tigers, King Tigers, etc.)

Tank news please
I am really looking forward to the Panzer III. I ordered 3 of them. When can we expect more information on upcoming tanks? I would love to see some different German tanks in the future. How about a Hetzer, Panzer II Luchs, or even a Mauder II?
Thanks,
Eric
Thanks,
Eric

Thank you to everyone that has shown your support by purchasing our first model. We learned a lot from the production of this model and will apply that knowledge towards the production of better models in the future.
Eddie372, we are going to offer a limited version of the F-86 minus all external spray masking and tampo-prints. They will be available for order from our website in about one month. To answer your second question: We have looked into producing ordinance packages, ground crew, etc. I will give you more information when we decide what we plan to do in the accessory realm.
Easy8, Juneau@1, Trojan99, and Mr. Football: It is nice to see interest on this forum towards the 1:72 scale armor. The Panzer IIIL is finished with injection and the primary paint. The only thing remaining is weathering the tank. Final production will only take a couple of days once we are all on the same page with how to weather the tank. The shipment is slated to leave Hong Kong in two weeks. I will update this if necessary.
Jim is the gentleman in the company that does most of the research for the 1:72 scale lines of armor. He uses both his own knowledge of historic armor and does research in both books and on the internet.
It just made sense for us to offer the Panzer III as our first model. First it was on of the main players in many of the battles fought, and second, no other company has really done the Panzer III in 1:72 scale. We do not want to offer you something that you have seen so many times before from other companies, i.e. Tigers. It is safe to say that our next couple of productions in 1:72 will be of armor and such… that have rarely been seen in 1:72.
Back to the 1:18 side of this thread, it is finally time for me to release the identity of our next model. But just to make things more fun and interesting lets play the identity game. I am going to provide you with one photo of a section of the aircraft. Then on Wednesday I will give Andrew a full photo of the actual aircraft. Tooling is well on its way with this aircraft. I will not speculate at this time when it will be ready for preorder, order, shipping, purchase, etc. So please do not email me on our company email asking for more information about this model. We will post information both here and on our website as it becomes available.
Let the guessing begin.
Regards

i never met an airplane i didn't like...
?
Possible? What else was left on the short list if anyone remembers?
my first guess was an Me-262 canopy as well. But after looking at pics of the real thing i'm not so sure. The real me-262 canopy seems to rise up at the apex more than this one....but it could just be the angle the pic is taken at.
I think it's the most likely candidate of all items on 'the list'.

Deffinitely an ME-262 canopy! I can tell based on this photo I took of an actual example at the RAF Museum in Hendon, England:
Unless 21c pulls off some miracle it looks like Admiral Toys will scoop them on this release as well Which ever company ultimately makes it, I'm pumped to be seeing this released at some point now. This plane is on my list for "must haves" in 1:18 aviation
Lots of repaint possibilities as well...
