Mike I like the Hellcat but you need to tell the guys who make the model/toy to make the landing gear more accurate and make the wheel more beefy, the corsair and the hellcat tires look like bicycle tires.
Since the wheels and tires come of could you guys do an upgrade kit that could be sold with the ordnance pack ?

I am hoping we might see a new vehicle when these guys hit but will be wanting multiples of all the figs! especially the red devil i would have preferred a modern brit but hes a brit so i want 10 atleast :D

I hope if sales go well you will consider some more modern/WWII brits!?

Agree.. I'm planning on nabbing a lot of the red devils. Mike, you should throw an FJ or two in the next batch. The FoV guys have proven repeatedly that Target is ok with some Opfor.. ;)

Mike,

Now that out of box pics of the 1/32 Phantom and Dauntless have been shown, can you tell us more about them? Since they were shown out of box recently, I assume they already are in production. How much are they, when will they arrive, and which retailer should we go to?

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

Hehe we've seen them. Now we are just waiting(the recent hobby show pics in the 1/18 and 1/32 forum showed the Dauntless and Phantom out of box and its clear that these were not place holders, but the BBI product itself, unlike toyfair) :D

Mike would the Red Devil Paratroopers be considered "modern" for the sake of the Target discussion? 8)

You got me there Mike. As you can tell, the 1/32 aircraft line already has some potential buyers lining up, other than myself. That 1/32 Jolly Roger F-4 has us excited, not only for that but the possibilities.

Maybe you can answer this.
Have you handled the 1/32 F-4 toy? What are your impressions?

Cool. I hope it is a Nightstalker version of the Blackhawks, although any will do. And double cool the Kiowas will be returning.

But, will the Zeros be returning soon?

Okay, you got me there Mike. So how is your finely crafted and accurately detailed miniature F-4 in 1/32 scale? Does it have the durability that BBI is known to have? Does it need refinements, or is it ready for mass production? What are your favorite things about it?

We all know it looks good, as you can tell a lot of of us have been floored by the recent pics of it.

Also, the 1/18 falcon and hornet were designed years back. How does the 1/32 F-4 compare in terms of quality, features and detail?

Mike, I have 2 more questions,

Will the Abrams or LAV be at Target or TRU again? When?

Why did BBI drop their 1/18 armor department?
The Sherman is amazing, and I think it sold well (did it?), why not continue?

Thanks for your time

And we did not drop our armour...Toys R Us did...what can I say?
But the reality of 1/18 is that aircraft outsell wheeled or tracked vehicles in an unbelievable proportion.
Also without the Panzers, there are a limited number of exciting vehicles to execute.
Now if only the retailers in the US could get over their "political correctness" ( or what ever form of insanity you wish to label it) and see things as historical products.

guess you missed my earlier post on the Zero."

on the subject of armour and Target:

Why is Target only carrying modern stuff....why are they not interested in a WWII like Walmart is?

And, since the Lav and Abrams will be selling at Target does this mean BBI will make some new modern armour now?

My guess would be is Target wants the modern to tie in with the new Joes. Whatever the reason, I'm not complaining.

Interesting little tidbit about political correctness. Sounds like BBi might consider doing German equipment. Man, our loss.

Glad to hear the stuff will be at target soon!! guy's make sure you post sightings i want to know what turns up and for how much :D

More armour/wheeled vehicles would be VERY cool there are quite a few modern subjects that could be done: Striker, leopard, landrover, Challenger 2, up armoured Humvees, scimitar, Warrior. I hope we might see some of these one day but not sure we will.

Mike, what about Russian armor? There should be no PC issues, and there is a Hell of a lot to make from WWII to the Modern era.

Im sure a T-34 will sell great.

Does the PC crap apply to modern German armor?

BTW, Are we getting wing rockets for the Hellcat?, and will the canopy be fixed?

Thanks for your time

Mike, do you think we will see a Blue Angel paint scheme for the new BBI F-4J Phantom? Thanks. :D
