Ah, cannot beat a theoretical discussion with a toy maker. If it is true that birds evolved from a type of dinosaur, then the egg came first. The chicken evolved later from one of its egg-laying predecessors.

When it comes to the chicken or the egg, I try not to think of which came first, but what size frying pan I am going to need.

While walking through the desert, seeking out mirages on the horizon, it is not uncommon to tell odd tales and share strange thoughts to prevent boredom. Of course, this may also be a sign that one has been walking in the desert for too long...

Mike: Is there a drop date for the stuff at Target? I know they will be doing a minor reset in the next week for Transformer movie toys, and I was curious if you guys would slot in at that time or during one of the summer resets?

I would really love to see the up graded Hellcat. Hopefully we will get pics of it before it comes out.

Info from Mike:

There is a new Corsair repaint on the way. It's Boyington's white 86 Lulubelle. No release date given but i imagine it will be fairly soon.

Also, Mike will be sending me production pictures of the new Hellcat, probably within a week or so.

Another 1:18 version of Boyington's fighter? Yes, I am a very big Boyington fan and this is the supurb BBI Corsair, but there's already the 21c example, soon to be followed by another...

more green Zeros will be there in a couple of months

for scopeuk
Gargoyle should be taking some for you.
In Target it will only be Apache and Blackhawk by way of Aircraft at this time ...but figures and vehicles too.

for Mighty Mustang
ok..I'm confused...you are looking forward to seeing the "upgraded Hellcat"...this implies there is a current one to improve upon...I really think the bbi one will be the first.

for Plane Nuts,
we have shipped Target...up to them now but I think you will see it mid to late June in some stores
and all stores by July.

for Quixote 511,
I'll pass on the chicken thanks, but aferg has the previews now"

Hellcat pics to follow...

Mike, I was only kidding about the free stuff :D Please gimme a bone though about how things look for more BBI product availability here.

You missed this a few months back? Can I take the credit for finding you a buyer in NZ, if so, where's all my free stuff! haha :D
tankduel wrote:Mike, a while back I suggested BBI should try 'The Warehouse' retail chain in NZ. Well, I was just there doing some Xmas shopping and I almost feinted when I came across the BBI Warriors of the world. I bought a stack and will be back for more. I hope this is the precursor to more BBI lines being sold there? I'll be beside myself if that happens, the 1/18 WW2 and modern stuff will sell well here.

so should I lie to you or keep it straight?..my way is to tell it like it is...so....well sorry.
The Warehouse ( which is well known to me) is a mainstream buyer of toys...they don't get the military picture at all I'm sad to say. NZ has a rich history in the military and great events such as Wanaka...but it ends there.

for VMF115,
well I did my part...I can hear afreg snoring from here...anyway I'm sure you'll like them...there is one error and it will be fixed before shipment."
