I got my Donald Duck Mustangs at TRU. I've got one on ebay right now. I'll post a link in the BST forum.

Bad Cat says its due out this summer. But there have been no updates from Mike or BBI so who knows when we will see it. I'm not to happy because I am really looking forward to the F6F.

This IS the BESTESTEST news and worth the wait from Mike!! Target is a GOOD choice as their distribution puts rings around Walmart! I haven't been in Target for a while-now there's a reason to go back!!

i read into Mike's message that Target will just be carrying the modern line. They may have some deal with TRU they still have to/want to honour.

Btw the Hellcat is scheduled for a June release in North America.....don't know where it's to be released though. I would guess TRU and etailers.

I believe that both Toys 'R' Us and Target are owned by the same shareholder companies. That would only make sense in BBI making the latteral move to Target as well as TRU.

Excellent news!

This means that bbi now has a greater incentive to manufacture more foreign aircraft. I believe Target does not have a ban on axis equipment like T.R.U.

The zero has been out for a while now but has not shown at T.R.U. If it shows up at Target this could mean a more diverse selection of bbi equipment and figures is now possible.

Exciting news!
One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!

i repeat Mike's quote:

"...but Modern fans only...."

I wouldn't count on seeing the Zero at Target, at least not at this time.

I only collect modern stuff so this is brilliant news!!! I wonder if the figures will be the new ones that we have seen at toyfair or Marines and Seals etc.

Mike Will the Vehicles be in their original colours will we see other colours like the M1 and LAV in Woodland?

Great to have you back mike but can see you must have been buisy putting this deal together! looking forward to mid June!!!

for Jolly Roger,
believe me at the price you will get a Blackhawk for there will be more than just one on your agenda.

As for the rest of you...Target has no affiliation with Toys R Us.
Next.
Target will have modern only at this stage...only success in sales may convince them to eventually take WWII...but for now...just get out there and buy what they have.

The big blue cat will be with etailers first as TRU will take some time to roll it out ( they really are hopeless...but don't tell anybody I said that)

Juts catching up on reading some posts I missed....
for coreystinson,
I read your post regarding being a retailer...the position is this...the 1/6 line is distributed by Merit....the 1/18 line is managed by BBUSA and Merit also handles some distribution for smaller customers but it can be obtained from BBUSA providing the retailer can meet the minimums...BBUSA has no facility to pack small orders so this is where Merit fits in the 1/18. So nothing is ever as simple as it seems .

As for someone getting a set of figures that have not been released...well that would be REAL news to me!

If you wish to be a retailer ...get you details to aferg and I will look into it personally.

for hawkeye,
our bbi newsletter very often does not get through as it is blocked by spam filters...so if you have a filter that stops broadcast emails then you will block our news regardless of if you are a member or not.
Usually we get up to 3,000 returned emails when we send out "Hot News"...a great idea those spam filters....you still get spam ...but not what you are signed up for."

HOLY SH@$#@# MIKE IS BACK!!!!!

Target is incredible news. My wife loves going there, and they're easier to get to. That makes hunting so much more better.

From the evil perspective  , Target is so quick to discount things, I expect to see some good deals. Granted, I'd rather see everything sell out fast so Target is a motivated buyer, but I would never complain at the chance to pick up some stuff 75% off.

Here's hoping we see the new figs soon. My credit card hasn't been smoking for a while. Not to mention I think I'm finally in need for a Blackhawk. Now, if we'd only see a b&M distribution of the Zeroes, I'd be in Hog Heaven.

Now, enough kissing Mike's bum. Mike....any chance we could see a scale HIND in the near future?

Nice to have you back among the 1/18 crazed, Mike! The Target news is encouraging!

By the way, I am not sure, but I think Teamski might be looking for the Hellcat. But don't quote me on that... ;)
