I think the forward cockpit windscreen is missing some reinforcement. that's all no big deal, I bet they can fix that real quick.

Thanks for posting :D I wouldn't say the entire plane is a piece of junk - the fuselage, wings, and especially the cockpit detail look great! I do agree that the windscreen needs some work however. Some of the framing isn't painted!

Agree, the cockpit detail is outstanding.. Wish it had the folding wings, but it looks great regardless and the weathering is well done. Count me in! :D

Mike, any chance I'll see that CD full of product photos for the database that we've discussed in the past?

Yes, the wings do fold, and it looks like the got the dihedral right which is something 21c didn't quite get with their Avenger. My other concerns aside, I can't wait to see this plane in person!

I can take the windscreen being off for all of the other detail that is there. The cockpit has me sold, and the folding wings are icing on the cake.

Wow! Yes, now I'm better than ok. Guess I lost track of the story after someone said that details like that might disappear to hit a price point or something. Great news! (now, about my other question...?) :)

Are those provisions for for underwing stores or just the ammunition chutes that I am seeing?

Very nicely done Mike. Thanks for putting out a new bird for us plane nuts.

Will the pilot figure be a new mold?

And yes, please fix the front windscreen.

Thank you bbi & mike!

Love it! I just hope it doesn't have the sagging problem like the Avenger's wings.

Peice of junk? A giant step backwards? Oh please say your kidding. The windscreen is not a big deal because the rest of the Hellcat looks awsome. But if your not kidding then its your opinion and you have a right to them but at least BBI had the nards to come out with a Hellcat and give us Hellcat fans what we were begging for.

It's looking a lot better than the original prototype. The windshield is not 100%, but it still looks a lot better than the P-40. I'm happy I got mine pre-ordered. Thanks for the pics!

The Warehouse ( which is well known to me) is a mainstream buyer of toys...they don't get the military picture at all I'm sad to say. NZ has a rich history in the military and great events such as Wanaka...but it ends there.

for VMF115,
well I did my part...I can hear afreg snoring from here...anyway I'm sure you'll like them...there is one error and it will be fixed before shipment."
the windshield will be fixed

I love it! Great job Mike/bbi! I think Felix looks pretty sharp there on the cowl, by the way.

As far as the windscreen goes, I don't consider that to be a big deal. It can be easily remedied.

Now to get my paws on one....... .
