Admiral Toys Information Q&A (Jason)
No it does not the flaps are inboard of the wing fold. like TKO and I said the third picture appears to be a Corsair, you can even see the ribbing on the underside of the wing.
Either this is the other of the two aircraft for NYTF or Janson's just palying with our minds, I'm sure that the Geneva convection has something to say about that but the I think the US (and Australia for that matter) has not signed that convetion but does recognise it.
Oops Moth you edited your post before I finished typing mine "I'm a slow typer"

Cripes I am gone for a few days and all hell brakes loose…. I have no Idea what it is but Jason has convinced me that I must have it.

Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?

not a skyraider either...
Here's a pic of a skyraider with wing folded...looks very different. And the cowl/wingroot region of the first pic looks different too.

i never met an airplane i didn't like...
I'm not sure the wing fold pic goes with the previous ones. It does look like it belongs to a Corsair. What one now, I can't see them do another like BBI or 21c. Which leaves birdcage, F2G, or Korean War era -5n or -7.
As an aside the steps on the inner flap is angled way wrong. The outer edge of the opening should be toward the front of the flap not the rear. Not a biggie, but it will look funny with the flaps down.

Corsair, WWII, Korea, Indochina (french), and racer (civil) and didn't the RN and French also call them Corsair's? One name.
Kate, WWII and Indonesian War of Independence.
I think Jason's mixing up clues to all a/c they're developing, letting us assume the clues are for one.
There might be more in the works also.

So did anyone get the hint yet?
When Jason started hinting to us (or better yet responding to our snooping..) he began replying to us as Ladies and Gentlemen. My guess is that the Lady and perhaps the lips were Kate.

new plane
Well, I'm coming in to this very late. Very exciting news! I'll have to agree that it is a Kate B5N2. Hope it is a Pearl Harbor version to go along with the Akagi Zero!

Welcome to two days ago
I have looked at every WWII allied aircraft in my reference books, and I conclude that it’s not an allied aircraft.
I also looked in my WWII axis aircraft reference books, and I am still confused. I do have to note the Japanese did make design improvements to many of its aircraft, So I don’t know, but I know its not American or British.

VENTS
The angle is off a bit in the pic that jason took “upper left corner of the wing fuselage" but it’s the only clue that stood out when I looked at all the Japanese WWII aircraft

I am still out to lunch on what she might be. If the banter of a Kate is true, I am highly motivated and excited. Actually, no matter what it is I am very happy. I think AT should get some big kudos for having the stones to tackle less mainstream projects. They most certainly have me vote, and more importantly, they can have a chunk of my check. This is sure cool.

well, at this point the kate seems most likely of all the guesses but i'm still not sure if the wing fold looks right and Jason seemed to be steering us away from the Kate with his comments..
Obviously not an Oscar, since they didn't have folding wings, not a Corsair since you can see a flap actuator on the top of the wing behind the folded wing portion and corsairs didnt have those. The problem is neither did Kates and the wing fold seems to be in the wrong spot for a Kate.
Not a Jill because the cowl is the wrong shape and the exhaust location in the wrong spot. Not a Skyraider for various reasons...
It could be that the close up perspective of the wing fold pic is distorting the proportions but the wing fold seems to me in a very strange spot. Too far inboard for a wing tip fold, ala Zero and too far outboard for Kate, Jill, Skyraider and the wrong look for a Corsair. Plus you can see a flap actuator on top of the wing, which none of those planes had.

I am going to give today’s hint early. It is 7:30 in the morning and I have not slept. That is the romantic side of our jobs. (We work all day, and then we work all night, and then we work all day. (I wish the entire world was on the same timeline.) When I say we are taking next week off, I mean… “we are taking next week off!!!”
Here we go “Ladies” and Gentlemen: (I really liked the ladies theory of thought, correct?... maybe, post likely not)
Good luck.
By the way; no one has won a free aircraft. Why? Because they have not pointed me to the exact phrase I intended as the hint. I know this is picky, but, if we are going to give away free aircraft, you better be right-on. We cannot set a precedent of giving away a free aircraft for a lucky guess. You must quote the exact sentence I said the hint in. (dangling part)
Therefore, the best I can say:
1. Aircraft name is “One” word(ish)
2. Latent hint
3. No one has “directed” me to the actual sentence (yes, I said sentence, not soliloquy!)
4. The aircraft is going to become easy to spot. But my “latent hint” is not.
5. You cannot quote every sentence I have said on this site and expect to win. I will give you no more then one sentence per guess.
I am proud of myself for rhyming(ish) this early in the morning!
Regards,
Jason

The grammar policeman in me is going to come out to haunt you. It is not a dangaling participle that you used. You did, however, end a sentence in a preposition. But, since you have been working hard to make this fun, I will cut you some slack.
Thanks for all of the fun Jason. Please know that this is appreciated. Merry Christmas!
