Say it ain't so - now the Avenger delays are not only holding up the Avenger but also the Hellcat I guess we can blame 21st for keeping us from a long overdue F6...perhaps we are waiting for the Avenger to arrive before we announce anything?"

Thanks for your comments and you would be right my comment will be "wait and see"...but since you seem to be so convinced that we have an F6 and that it would make a perfect partner for the Avenger...perhaps we are waiting for the Avenger to arrive before we announce anything?"
Ah crap this means we will have to wait a year or more before we see a Hellcat?! If you guys are waiting for the Avenger to be released first Mike then you'll be waiting awhile. I just dont understand it but I think BBI is missing out on a great opportunity to make some big sales by not releasing a Hellcat. But thats their call I guess.

Don't know about you guys, but Mike's comment seem to indicate that there's something "cooking" that we may be very pleased to hear in a not so distant future. Hummmm.

Avenger partner
The Dauntless would also be a GREAT partner for the Avenger!
Also...a Wildcat would be another great partner for the Atlantic ASW Avenger

Mike ~ I know Toys'R'Us is the primary brick & mortar retailer for the 1:18 Elite Force line and has a policy regarding nonoffensive toys. But since there are several online retailers who stock the BBi products I have a question for you.
Will the BBi 1:18 Elite Force WWII series of figures ever see any Germans, British, Italians, or Japanese (excluding the Zero pilot)?

Mike...
1-BBTS has pics of the 1:18 apache up and it was set to preorder but they already sold out. However the picture shows it with fuel tanks and sidewinders. Does this reissue have those or did they mistakingly show another product?
2-Will the Zero hit TRU? How about the Old crow P-51 and other upcoming Mustang and Corsair repaints?
3-Is target satisfied with combat command? ANd since the HIND is out.....are there any more new mold[/] planes coming out later this year?
4-Would BBI consider making retooled versions of their F-16 and F/A-18? (for example, moving airbrakes, more weapons, more detail, more moving parts,).
Or would it be cheaper just to make an all new toy altogethere like the F-16E block 60 or F/A-18E/F Super Hornet?
5-Now that competition is stepping up hardcore this year, is BBI considering making 1:18 big fighters in demand, such as the F-14, F-15, SU-30 MKI, etc>?
6-Have the WW2 birds had higher sales than the modern jets?
7-Now that the 1:18 falcon and hornet are out, is there anything BBI wish it could have done had it had more time to work on those in the past or wishes they can do better? Is the design team satisfied? Are there anythings they wished they could put in but could not due to cost? I LOVE my hornet!

Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:
F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle
F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle
F6
They have to do a Bunker Hill F6 - that would be the sweetest three plane display yet. Corsair, Avenger and Hellcat lined up with wings folded would be quite impressive.tko211 wrote:Well if BBI is pinning the F-6 right behind the Avenger we should all happy to have both planes in our collections by late Spring... so about 4 more weeks!!!! AWESOME! I can't wait!

Very true. Too bad they'd be all Navy though.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

So does this mean you'll eventually buy a plane from the competitiontko211 wrote:It sounds like something (F6?) is being announced just after the Avengers ship! Or at least that was the impression we were given. It was a few posts back.
Just kidding - 21c and BBI compliment each other, save for a few noted instances, so I would hope you partake in the full bounty of 1:18 aircraft and vehicles

I think everybody needs to read carefully my comment regarding the F-6...it was in response to another query on when and my response was that "if we did have one then perhaps we are waithing for...."
Both "if" and "perhaps" are very big words that seem to have been overlooked."

i never met an airplane i didn't like...
?
I think if you look at the answer to item #2 it relates to the Zero and tru. Hope that helps.
I noticed that, but I think that might not apply to the Zero, just double checking, because I will have to order it if it will not be at ToysRus.

You're right, it did not apply to the Zero. On the 1:18 side one of the retailers said TRU will not be getting the Zero. Finally we got a straight answer on where this bird will be available as opposed to a lot of guuessing and "waiting and seeing." Took 6 months but there's your answer..Moth wrote:I noticed that, but I think that might not apply to the Zero, just double checking, because I will have to order it if it will not be at ToysRus.

mike i have contacted Corgi here in the UK and one of their reps emailed me to say that they are no longer the distributers of bbi in the UK. is that right also have seen the new knights etc with Revell mentioned. are they taking over the distribution or just for these figures? is there any chance that we might see any new modern stuff like the new weapons packs over here in the UK. I know you might not be able to answer but thought it was worth asking Also any other info on the Black Kiowa that has been seen should we expect any more new stuff soon?
