According to the Myrvang book, this gun was made in 1943 by Maget. The two digit year code was introduced in 1943 and each manufacturer used different letters for the year of production:

MAGET

cra 1942
cra 1943
cra GH (1943)
cra NC (1944)
swd NC (1945)

GUSTLOFF-WERK, SUHL

dfb 1943
dfb FG (1943)
dfb MU (1944)
svq SM (1945)

MAUSER WERK, BORSIGWALDE

ar JT (1943)
ar DF (1944)
dd DF (1945)

Some manufacturers had guns marked 1943 and later two digit letter codes in 1943. On page 447 of the Myrvang book is a breakdown by serial number showing what guns had a number and what ones had letter codes for the date.

Check these out from Toadman's Axis Tank Photos. I always use his site when looking for Photos, Axis, or Allied.

Panzerfaust 60 gross ("large") or Faustpatrone (Translated literally to mean: Tank Fist Large) was the third version of the Panzerfaust. This was the most common version, with production starting in September 1944. It had a much more practical range of 60 m (66 yd), although with a muzzle velocity of only 45 m (148 ft) per second it would take 1.3 seconds for the warhead to reach a tank at that range. To achieve the higher velocity, the tube diameter was increased to 5 cm (2.0 in) and 134 g (4.7 oz) of propellant used. It also had an improved flip-up rear sight and trigger mechanism. The weapon now weighed 6.1 kg (13 lb). It could defeat 200 mm (7.9 in) of armor.

They sure were beasts, weren't they? These are great photos, Normandy. Thank you for sharing them!

I agree with you Mutt71, beasts is the perfect description.

I figured with the Skorzeny King Tigers on the horizon, it might
be a good idea to get some reference pictures ready.
I've built two of Pickelhaube's King Tigers one with and the other
without fenders / mud guards. Having some reference pics in one
place sure helps if your doing custom work.

Oh and I haven't forgotten about the 1:18 buildings you asked about.

Normandy, the thought that you had forgotten about the buildings, never entered my mind. I am a very patient guy. All in due time. Thank you.

Tiger 113 in Beauvais, France at the end of August 1944.

Tiger II 113 became the favorite subject of many local photographers. The barely visible unit emblem above the starboard mudguard the turret number style and the Balkenkreuz position make the identification of its former unit an easy task. Tiger II 113 formely belonged to the 1./s.SS-Pz.Abt.101 and was left behind in the Grand Route at Jemappes after it had run out of fuel. After its removal from the Grande Route the appearence of the vehicle started to change. Its barrel had been cut off and the zimmerit been damaged where the Balkenkreuz was formely applied.

The condition makes it difficult to see the blade detailing however I saved the pics and blew them up. The blade is definitely Bergsmüller marked and the motto font is also Bergsmüller style as well. Aluminum crossguards are not common but were used in the period.
