Can any of you military guys tell me the difference between a NCO and a CO? Also, what ranks would be a NCO and what ranks would be COs?
Thanks!

Check out the definition in
Wikipedia for "Noncommissioned Officer" as it is slightly different between the US military and the Canadian Military!
And CO
"Commissiond Officer"

The definitions that Zone mentioned are the most common, but "CO" can also mean Commanding Officer, and is pretty common as well. I remember a scene from a movie where a guy asked "Hey, what did you do in the Army?"... to which the other guy replied..."I was CO in a medical unit"... the first guy says... "Ah, Commanding Officer eh?"... and the other guy says "Nah, Conscientious Objector".

The basic NCO "Non Commissioned Officer" is a good old Enlisted Man,
Commissioned Officer is an officer- usually a college grad in today's military.
CO for Naval Ships is usually a Commander (O-5) or above.

In the states a Commissioned Officer is appointed, individually, by congress. A Noncommissioned Officer is the guy that the CO actually counts on to get the mission accomplished.
