Just finished viewing this 2004 flick "The Fallen", and I really enjoyed it.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0382721/
The Fallen is set in Italy in the closing stages of the war and switches between German, Italian, and American perspectives throughout the movie. The movie has many odd and interesting twists to it, and at times has a somewhat bizarre and surreal quality to it, but there is also enough combat action to keep it interesting. The good news is you can probably get this at your local Blockbuster. Well recommended for WWII movie buffs, and worth the price of admission IMO.
