Ditto.
I would love to see this movie, but it didn't make it to Houston. It had pretty good reviews from IMDB.com.
If anyone knows, do tell.
There's also a BIG movie released this year in Germany called "Downfall"...covering the fall of Berlin. It hasn't yet been distributed in the States. I wonder if it will go straight to DVD here?

2- March 2005 = "Downfall"...battle for Berlin. seems exciting.
3- May 2005 = "Saints & Soldiers"....looks good!

A place called "Belle and Blade" specializes in war movies. That is all they sell.. Take a look at thier site.

Does anyone own the Belle & Blade DVD "Attack and Retreat"? It is an Italian film that came out in 1966. It is about the Italian Army that folded under Soviet attack during the encirclement of Stalingrad. How does this movie compare to the German movie "Stalingrad"?

The saints and soldiers movie was OK. Small scale, lower budget. I would liken it to a midnight clear. Both filmed in Utah! It is less WWII and more story. Could have been set in any time period. I wouldnt mind seeing the German Stalingrad again. Hollywood video doesnt carry it I guess?

Sounds like a good show. I'll have to check it out when it comes out on DVD.
