After the Battle

Post by STUKA » Mon Jan 22, 2007 10:17 pm

Just found a publication at a local Barnes and Noble called " After the Battle"

Wow - my new favorite read. Perfect for the history buff, WWII Buff.
This is a quarterly which prints in February, May, August, and November.

Published by Battle of Britain International Ltd.

www.afterthebattle.com

Each issue is $9.99 US and all older issues appear available.
The current issue covers the Battle of Kasserine with great armor and troop action pics - some really great shots of Rommel captured by the propaganda photographers.

Many pics of destroyed and burned out tanks and some shots of the POWs and dead.
The real great thing is the writers go to the same spots where the original shots were taken showing the area today. really great PZ IV and III pics.

I love it.

I remember seeing these a lot back in the days when I used to actually assemble models  They were (and probably still are) quite popular in the scale modeling community.
