I was dragged to an antique store with my girl friend this weekend where I came across a great “find” as she puts it.

I got a 25-volume set of The Marshall Gavendish Illustrated Encyclopedia of WWII for $10.

These things are great packed full of all kinds of useful reference information. The copyright is 1972 on the books and they are blue books with silver writing. If you come across a set I would buy it.
Found a set on ebay

Any new reference material is a definate plus. I have collected a huge library of "war books" as my wife calls them. Nice find.

Hey lance Nice find mate, very sweet
Myself I`m lucky my wifes always pointing out Military books when we got old bookstores too for my own library.
I`ve not found that set but one set I do have is "The illustrated Encyclopedia of 20th century WEAPONS AND WARFARE",24 volumes.
I find this rather usefull. Alas though it`s moreso 80s technology as the the more modern......LOL
Still a set on one particular war is GREAT & again great find on yours mate
