Another overlooked source for pictures and information concerning supply/logisitics from the Civil War to the present day is the Army's Quartermaster Museum at Ft. Lee, VA -- home of the Quartermaster Corps.

The museum site covers all historical aspects of the QM Corps: from uniforms and footwear, airborne delivery and parachute riggers; to water purification, food service, fuel distribution and mortuary affairs.
