These are the kind of photos that make me wonder why we couldn't have saved more of these fabulous relics......Oh to be able to have one of those Stuart tanks or even one of the Jeeps :(

They also dumped 3/4 tons and trucks into the ocean. In the boon "Commanding the the Red Armies Shermans" auther Dmitriy Loza tells of at the end of WWII, They witness the Allies dumping planes into the ocean. The decision was made not to turn in their beloved M4s to be dumped into the ocean.
