Dog Fights on the Military History Channel

I've been watching this program with interest. It covers dog fights from all the wars. Recently I saw an episode regarding the Hellcat and another regarding the F-8 Crusader and another regarding the AD-6 Skyraider. I enjoy seeing and hearing about various and not as famous aircraft. I'd love to get a Crusader in 1/32. Fortunately I have the F-6 Hellcat, 1/32, it's one of the wooden (mahogany) types as well as the Skyraider, 1/40, also mahogany.
Has any one been watching this program?

Dude, that series ended like seven years ago.

Oh, and Trumpeter makes a kit for the "E" and the "J" model Crusader for around $100 if you're up to building your own.

Fantastic series, but as CplSlade pointed out, far from new.

CGI will be looking somewhat dated by now, but other than that, it really is great. Covers all sorts of engagements from WWi to the Gulf War, and everything in between.

Have the series downloaded, and was hoping they might do another season at some point.

Ketelone, if you are interested in the F-8 Crusader, Century Wings did a great job on this plane, although in 1/72. They can be had for cheap, and really good value. 8)

CW F-8 Crusader line up.

You might consider 1/48 as well, since most jets are fairly big in size anyway. That way you get the bigger visual impact size of 1/32 and the economical display space savings of 1/72.

I built one of those back in the time before time.

I was unaware of the age of the series. It's new to me!
