Anyone know how many were made? I have read that none saw combat, is there any evidence any one knows of to refute that?

The Encyclopedia of German Tanks of WWII states only 8 hulls were produced and only 1 turret prototype was completed, so as far as its concerned none were ever fielded.

I was just reading this the other day. i think one was completed with no engine and was given to the troops defending Berlin but wasn't ever used. the book also said they where only day(s) away from completing one.
