New source site for unpublished color photography from WW2

Post by colorwarphotos » Wed Apr 27, 2011 5:53 am

Hello.

My name is Ian Spring and I am a very well know and long time collector of original World War Two colour slide photography.
Over the last 6 months I have started a new project with fellow private collectors of original colour photography, to combine our material on one platform.
The material is free and open, so if you need any reference material, especially colour references, then this might be the best place to find them.

Also if you need any special information or color photo references, please free to ask the other members for help.

I alone have more than 23,000 original slides still waiting to be scanned.

Hope you enjoy the new project.
Ian

Hi Razor.

Thanks for looking at the new site.
We already have a really strong group of photo collectors bringing their collections together here.
And of course every one is welcome.
When you register, i just click you in.

I also thought it would be a super site for model makers. There is a hugh amount of never before seen color photos from WW1 to the Vietnam war and this is just dream reference material for models.

So all you guys are really warmly welcome !
Ian

the new name of the site is
