Any good Eastern Front movies out there? I wish there were some movies made about the Eastern Front in a Saving Private Ryan/Band of Brothers style.

An eastern front movie with SPR/Band of Brothers style; I'm going to have to say there aren't any really like that. Here are a few Eastern Front movies that I can remember off of the top of my head though:
Enemy at the Gates
Stalingrad (Subtitled)
Tali Ihantala (Subtitled)- Finnish vs Russians

9th company is about Soviet paratroopers during the Soviet War in Afghanistan in the 1980's. I am pretty sure that Red Baron was looking for WWII era movies.

I would recommend "STAR " set in WW2
Created by the same studio that produced "Come and See", The Star is an action packed war adventure that has been favourably compared with recent Hollywood depictions of war and inhumanity. Set during the end of the Second World War, on the Polish front separating the Russian and German armies, The Star is the call sign for a Russian scout unit being sent behind enemy lines to spy on troop movements in the knowledge that two such units have already been despatched and vanished without trace. Almost from the start the film is charged with tension as the scouts use their tracking skills to avoid detection and their killing prowess to exterminate obstacles in their way, leading to an almost unbearable climax.

A good 'eastern' front movie starred the current James Bond playing a Jewish leader fighting the Nazi's as well as anti-semites in Defiance. It was out a couple of years ago. It's based on a true story.

Defiance is a great film.
You could also try Aleksandr Buravsky's "Attack on Leningrad" (2009).
Or, "The Brest Fortress" by Alexander Kott (2010), this is a Russian language film.
I also once saw clips of a film based around a Russian female sniper, I think it was "On The Nameless Height" by Vyacheslav Nikiforov (2003). Again, this was a Russian language film.
There is plenty out there.
