Hi.
I'm looking for forums that I can find out about pre-finished die-cast WWI planes and what scale is the most popular.
Also, what companies make these models and which is considered the best and the worst. I'm new at collecting WWI planes so I want to start with a scale and companies that will be around for awhile.
As well, which planes and paint schemes and markings would you like to see made that aren't being made at this time? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I don't know about specific forums, but I think finished diecast WWI aircraft are somewhat of a rarity. I can point you to the small WWI aircraft in the Corgi Showcase collection (there's a Sopwith Camel & Folker Dr. I) then there are the Matchbox Collectables 1:48 scale Spad VIII and Folker Dr. I. These are the only prefinished WWI diecast aircraft I can think of. You may be able to find them at such online stores as www.theflyingmule.com. Hope this helps!
