German fighter Aces WWII

Note: **** marks an ace awarded the Knights Cross with oak leaves swords and diamonds medal. Only 27 men of all german military branches and ranks were awarded this very high medal during the entire war. (+ means KIA)

Too bad they wern't ALL KIA'D.Now how about a list of RAF/RCAF , American,Polish Aces??

Yes, Allied lists would be cool as well, howevever, when you consider that the highest-scoring Allied ace in WWII, Ivan Kozhedub (Soviet Air Force), had 62 kills, the German ones with 100+ become all the more amazing.

Although this list is from Wilipedia, it contains all aces from WWII:

Interesting that the highest scoring aces were mostly German, with a few Japanese thrown in...

I recognize at least 4 of those were made into 1:18 Ultimate Soldier 109's.

Gunther Rall 109G
Hermann Graf 109G
Anton Hackl 109G
Adolf Galland 109E

There's probably more in the FW-190's, and maybe in 1:32 I just don't recognize them. Anyone?

You have to remember these guys didn't have a "tour of duty" either. They were flying before the war in the Spanish Civil War, and the duration of the WWII or till they got shot down. That combined with high skill level, and good planes made for high kills.
