Tons of great historical documents and references for free download available at the AFHRA website covering pretty much every major conflict the USAF has had a role in. Of particular interest for WWII history fans would be the "German Monograph Series" which consists of documents on the Luftwaffe's operations in all theaters during WWII. Written by captured high ranking Luftwaffe officers, this is great stuff for anyone who wants information on the Luftwaffe's activities during the war from a German perspective. There are a number of studies of the German airlift operations in support of German army troops trapped at Kholm, Demyansk, and Stalingrad, and these are must reading IMO for anyone who wants an understanding of German military strategy and the Luftwaffe role on the Eastern Front.
