Way too easy

They need to put some more questions in there like:
The Supreme Commander of the Allied forces in the European Theater. He eventually became a US President.
[a] Winston Churchill
Chiang Kai-shek
[c] George S Patton
[d] Dwight D Eisenhower
(OK, that one was too easy, but...)
A famous German general that developed the theories of mobile warfare that would later become Blitzkrieg in WWII. (Hint, its not actually who you think it is
)
[a] Heinz Guderian
Erwin Rommel
[c] von Seeckt
[d] Adolph Hitler

Way too easy
Yeah, I know... but it's geared towards Middle School kids so no big surprise that it would be too easy for most of us here. I think you can develop your own quizzes at this site, so if I get time maybe I'll put something together that will really test some of you guys.

Oh, BTW, I believe your German General would be Guderian, no?

2. The Polish General, the first Polish Prime Minister in Exile, the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Armed Forces since 1939. Killed in the B-24 crash (probably the assasination) in Gibraltar in July 1943 (he learned in the same city - Rzeszow - where Wieslaw lives).
[a] Wladyslaw Sikorski
George Marshall
[c] Philippe Leclerc
[d] Hugh Dowding
3. The General, the next Polish Commander-in-Chief, dismissed in September 1944 as a result of the British pressure (because of his "too" anti-Soviet position).
[a] Maurice Gamelin

[c] Kazimierz Sosnkowski
[d] William Halsey

Builder of the Polish Army which went out from Russia to Iran, Iraq and Palestine. Commander of the Polish 2nd Corps in Italy which conquered the Monte Cassino hill and liberated Bologna, Ancona etc.
[a] Wladyslaw Anders
Pietro Badoglio
[c] Omar Bradley
[d] Bernard Montgomery

Stanislaw Sosabowski
[c] Brian Horrocks
[d] Gustaf Mannerheim
7. The Polish General, as a Commander of the 10th Motorized Cavalry Brigade fought in Poland 1939 and in France 1940. His 1st Polish Armoured Division was the famous "cork in the neck of the Falaise pocket" and then liberated Belgium and Holland and captured Wilhelmshaven (he lived and fought i.a. in Rzeszow – Wieslaw’s home city).

I know nothing of Polish military history...but I got all of them correct...by simply choosing the names that sounded Polish.
Is that cheating?

GooglyDoogly,
it's not any cheating! I don't believe you knew nothing of Polish military history. But if there is somebody who really don't know anything, my intention was to make him a little familiar with it
