So according to reports, five U.S. servicemen were killed when a B1 bomber was called in for close air support.
...and we don't need the A-10 anymore.

Yes sir, the USAF claims they can do CAS with the B-1 and B-52 (rolling my eyes).

The sad part of this is the idiots who makes these stupid decisions are not in harms way nor do they have any children in harms way.
I can't tell you how many Army and Marine ground troops thanked us for "saving their asses" when they found out we were A-10 folks when we were deployed.
I think these "decision makers" should have to spend some time on the ground and see how valuable the A-10 is before they make this choice.
