Time machine
Found this site while doing some research. Basically allows you to travel back in time and browse long gone or outdated websites. It's a bit quirky but there were some good treasures out there.

This one was interesting. The old 21st Century Toys website from 2003:

Very cool find
I like the 2003 21c site - that takes me back!
However, if you all really want a throwback to the past, take a look at this:
http://web.archive.org/web/200310032210 ... ndpounders
Its the original GP board
I had forgotten how plain it looked, however P-51 did make this current board look uncannily similar. Too bad one can't read the individual postings, but the titles give us an idea of what we were discussing back in 2003. The was right on the eve of 21c selling their products en masse at Wal Mart, BBI putting out their 1:18 lineup and the real explosion of the 1:18 collecting hobby
There's a bunch of familiar names there as well: GroundPounder01, aferguson, teamski, MrFootball, tderespino, immeww2, WGP Klaus, jericoeagle, MK, Coreyeagle48, ltcbj, markone18 and a bunch of others, including me
The archive is even still intact!!

That is a great lot! I remember in '03 and '04 when you could buy lots of the S1 US, German, and Paratrooper figures for cheap on ebay, and I think there were still some on Amazon.com at the time as well. It was great, especially since they were the only regular ETO figures avaliable in 1:18 at the time

There were 8-12 of them at the TRU on cobb parkway in 01-02, I decided I didnt need one since I just got the green stuka, the british corsair and the dday p-38; I believe all in that same week.
But none of that really matters, does it?
