33rd FG "Fighting Nomads"

Post by Rogue » Fri Dec 08, 2006 7:45 am

Does anyone have info/pics of the 33rd?

They flew P-40F, P-47, and P-38's from "Operation Torch" to CBI.

I turned this up Googling around.

I was only able to locate this P-40 using the image search. Corgi apparently has a 1/72 33rd FG P-40 as well.

Thanks FLPUman

Gotta love Merlin power Warhawks!

So, what is your PU of choice?

I am restoring my grandfathers 1964 Chevrolet C-10.
He bought it a month after I was born and died just after my 1st.
I learned to drive and went to art school in "Old Blue"

My pickup of choice would be an old Power Wagon, or a brand new Powerstroke Super Duty. My current rig is a '91 F350 4x4. I've got it parked for the time being due to gas prices. :?

An old Power Wagon would be cool. I think I would stay away from the 6.0L Powerstrokes. Next model year ('07) Ford is introducing the 6.4L Powerstroke

I too have a '91 F350 4x4, but mine is now powered by a Cummins 6bta.

You can check it out here.
