That doesn't look anything like the account described in Herodotus' The Histories, or rather, it blows that account all out or proportion :wink:

To paraphrase a Classics professor I once had, this film is certainly an interpretation of an event, not a retelling of it. The film seems pretty artistic and should be interesting.

Would be nice if someone actually did a movie more closely based on the "actual" events. Never figured this one would even try to come close.

That aside, I'm really interested to see this one. Visually, its looks very interesting.
