Just thought I would share this info about a 30 min ride on
a real Tiger tank

I was fortunate to be there a few years back when they working
on restoring this mean machine. I took lots a pics, but
the Tiger was in a differn't building being restored, so I missed
it, but boy there was alot of other tanks there.

That would be fun - I want the commander's seat! However, the package that includes the tank ride costs ₤120, which approximates to nearly $240 and that doesn't include the travel expenses for going to the UK
Teamski, haven't you been to that museum?

Teamski, haven't you been to that museum?
Yep! When I went back in 1998 (I think), the Tiger was deep in restoration and was missing the Turret. The Bovington Tank Museum was excellent. I REALLY wish the Aberdeen Proving Ground Museum took as good of care of their tanks as they do at Bovington! It all comes down to $$$$ unfortunately.
