Will be a great show this year...will be taking LOTS of pictures...I think every Corsair in the country will be there (eight so far!)
also this year they will have a WWII Pacific Battle Reenactment
In honor of the Centennial of Naval Aviation, this year we will present a realistic reenactment of a WWII Pacific-theatre battle featuring a live flamethrower.

The WWII Pacific Battle Reenactment will commence with three LVT’s transporting U.S. Marines to the front lines of battle in order to maneuver a ground assault on the Japanese emplacements. Simultaneously to the ground battle action, crowds should look to the sky so that they don’t miss the spontaneous aerial action happening overhead. Two Japanese Zeros will be flying cover for the Japanese troops while six U.S Navy Corsairs enter the theatre and engage the two enemy aircraft in multiple aerial dogfights.Yoxford

The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.
