Tiger 1 questions
Hi guys I wasn't sure where to post this so, anyways I have a 1/32 FOV Normandy Tiger 1 "223" and was wondering where would a crew on a Tiger stow Jerrycans? As of right now I have them on the left side where the theres a tow strap- http://www.forcesofvalor.com/product.aspx?pid=303 (middle picture labeled "Highly detailed and accurate replica") where the left "hook" is and just being squeezed by the ropes against the hull. I also never got the MG mount for the commander on my tank. How would I go about adding on to this tank? Also I have several stowage a part from a few other tanks(boxes, Jerrycans, etc..) and would to add these to this model as well and would like suggestions as to where to place these. Also what would be the best glue to use to hold these is place? would regular model glue work without damaging the model itself? Another thing is there a good place to buy figures in 1/32 online and what colors would I need for German troop and tanker uniforms since I plan on making a diorama with this model. Any help with any question is appreciated
Re: Tiger 1 questions
Hi,
There are no regulations on the storing of Jerry cans on Tigers. Jerry cans and even 55 gallon drum barrels were placed where ever there was space on the tank. Jerry cans are usually strapped onto the sides and 55 gallon drum barrels were placed directly on top of the engine deck. I'm sure motor pool, flying mule, etc. online hobby shops have plenty of figures in stock.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know where I could find pics of the Jerrycans strapped to the side of the tank as references?

Tiger 1's and Jerry Cans:

Hope that helps, I know these are not "action shots" but the rack at the rear left/right seems to have been the storage space?
