Couldn't resist...

http://chapmeitoys.proboards62.com/inde ... 558&page=1

I had alot of respect for Steelbonnet at one time. Actually, on the old GPXD board, he was the first member to welcome me to the forum.

Hope the other members don't mind me quoting them, but I felt the highlights of this thread needed to be made clear as there's alot of fluff in that makes the course of events hard to follow.

He'll probably just disappear again, but at least he knows we're vigiliant.

Tman,
Great minds think alike. I was thinking of posting something like this on the other board.
The post you made on the other board is excellent.
It warns the members of that board to the problem and challenges SB to come out and respond. I doubt he will though.
Thanks very much for bringing this to light on the other board.

Hmmmm...... that tread on the other board was pretty active, then for some reason it got REAL quiet, REAL quick. :|

I agree Tman, your post was absolutely necessary, especially now that we know that SB is OK, and that he actually chose to screw our fellow board members out of his end of the deal. You held your composure well. (Far better than I would have.) Flawless execution BTW.

I'll admit, I thought SB would eventually make good on his deals, and that this was all due to some unforeseen circumstance. I guess now I know better. File this one under lessons learned.

Hope you fellas that got hosed by this AH get some sort of satisfaction out of him. If not his end of the deal, then at least a chance to get in a couple of whacks on his nugget with a ball-peen hammer.

FYI (bis)
http://goodtogocustoms.com/forum/index. ... 1#msg37011
talked to him at that time...new promises and then again houdini style communication...

Jason I'm sure you not a pro scammer...like said just before you use the same name across board...And I think you even gave your real name (by seeing all the info anyone can found on the internet related to you and if not it would be easy to verify or to find the real one...)

1 year now...For the last time, gave us back our money and stuff. For my deal you've got until 04/17/2008 00h00 GMT to find a solution (you know how to contact me).

Had to be said T-man. If nothing else maybe you can save someone else from falling into his trap. Really disappointing to see this happen.

I think we need a seperate site of:

XD LOSERS of Small Scale HQ and Beyond!
-President: Audey "Take your XD and run" Murphy
- Vice President of Undone Customs: Steel Bonnet
- Under Secretary of "Lost" XD: Mighty Mustang
- Treasurer: ??? -no one that can be trusted...

Steel Bonnet is like a REALLY bad penny - he keeps turning up!
