G'day fellow New Zealand and Australian board members (and others).

Just to let the guys from south of the equator know I have posted some 1/18 and 1/32 items up on eBay, included amongst these items is a 1/18th scale S1 Ju 87 Stuka which is MIB, I finally have had to let this one go realising I could not justify having two. Here is the link to the Stuka for those who maybe interested - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... :LCA:AU:11
I also have some 1/32 and 1/35 scale farm/construction toys from Britains, Ertl and JOAL up for worldwide sale also.

My eBay handle is yabespud and thanks for thanks for looking.

Hey Spud ,
Why are those Aussie BBI 51's so pricey? I got the camo and the silver one and they were about $150 each US dollars. Is this the price you guys have to pay for XD Down Under? If so you poor guys.

Hey Spud,
Any other planes on the horizon? Im after P-47's, P-40's and Mitsi Zero's. Really looking for a not-so-mint P-40 and Zero for some custom projects.

G'day Pickelhaube

Welcome to my world, not only are XD and 32X type products hideously expensive it is also almost impossible to find BBI and AT do have some limited distrubution through an importer but as far as I know 21stCT still, as such products are only available through specialist stockists who then add a hefty margins over and above what ever it costs to get down here originally.

To make matters even worse if that were possible the BBI Mustangs and Hornets (the P-51 is a cheapy when compared to the F/A-18) are exclusives due to their RAAF markings which seems to justify an further premium to be added.

If was not for my links with John Ivory of John’s Stuff and the tireless efforts of FieroDude (Earl) my collection would be next to non existent, as even eBay and the E-tailers option once shipping has been factored in ends up only being slightly short of the prices charged locally.

So there you go, I hope my rant has given you a little insight into collecting down-under.

G'day Jay

You will have to form an orderly que behind me as I unfortunately do not have a P-47, P-40 or a Zero myself. Sorry the Stuka is currently the only aircraft item that I have a duplicate of and that was almost pried from my dying hands as it was.

There is one hobby shop locally that has the Zero (green) but I think that was around AU$125 or so.

But having said that if I do get any excess of your wants in the future I'll let you know.
