Actually, I believe the seller is our own Admiral Toys. If you look at the history on the ID, it includes JJscloset, among others. And if I recall correctly, JJs Closet is the store that Jim Foringer has/had that inspired him to become a manufacturer instead of just a retailer.

I suspect it is a combination clearance and awareness building effort.

hmm.......i expect it's a bit of a goof. They could have got more than 1 cent for it.

Probably supposed to be starting bid of one cent without the buy it now price and somebody erred in setting up the listing.

I am with aferguson this is a mistake of the mouse-click. I do not think that they intended to sell it for 1 cent!

That's what I would think. It will be interesting to see if the "error" gets corrected and we see it re-listed in the near future. Correct me if I am wrong, but just as buyers can retract their bid if they enter a wrong amount, I believe there is some option for sellers as well, is there not?? Whoever the seller is probably just is not aware of the goof yet.

I think you can pull the sale up to twelve hours before the auction ends. But buy it now i think you are stuck. You could refuse to sell. But the person could give you a non performing seller ding.
Could not think of anything to put here.

according to Ebay rules, the seller can refuse to sell their item whenever they want, and especially in the case of listing error but you do run the risk of getting negative feedback from the buyer.

I would think the seller would rather take the negative feedback than lose money on the plane.

Ok thats just weird, no way you screw up putting that price in unless the BIN was the screw up on the sellers part, but even thats hard to mess up. Lets see if the feedback ever reveals the tale.
