Oh yea. I drilled it out by hand and made my own tow pin. Nothing special for the pin, just some heavy gauge wire curled at the top so it won’t drop all the way through. The tough part was that the PAK-40's tong was too big for the receiver. I had to hand hone out the receiver so it would fit in. The receiver is made of that rubbery plastic so it was quote a job.

((( ))) Excellent job and weathering technique Kevin. I've waited and wondered why 21st. did'nt follow up on theirs. Yours look better. 8) Customs always do though.

Nice work on the paint, tires/treads and weathering. I think that you should give us a few tips on the hanomag custom as it is excellent. I really like the weathering on the undercarraige and in the wheel wells as well. Great job. I hope it sell well.

It sold very well indeed. I’m glad it did, I may do more things like this in the future since it looks as if there’s a market for it. Customs take a ton of time to make right. I think I spent way too much time on this particular set but it was worth the experience gained. Thanks for all who showed interest. I like the idea of high end custom models. I have been toying with the idea of building a “Museum Quality” 1/72 German U-Boat sometime soon. Wish me luck on that one.
I may put one of my custom buildings up in the near future too. It went perfect with the winter Hanomag.
