G'day MIGMADMAVIS

You may or may not know that I am the graphic artist behind these decals, below are some pictures of the same numbers (in this case blue with a yellow outline) applied to my own custom Tiger, this should give you an idea of their actual weight. (Please note also that I have heavily distressed and dirtied the numbers on my tank to weather them in a tad.)

There are currently two sets available with red numbers, one which has a white outline and one that is solid red (the solid red ones are in total as thick as the outlined versions).

If these still do not meet your requirements just contact John, I have other numbers that I have done for him in 1/6th scale like those shown below that may be closer to what you are after, that could be scaled down for a custom set, but you'd need to discuss this with John first.

Hope this information helps you with your choice.

G'day Tobin

The "things" or grenade launchers, it was a long time ago but if I recall correctly they were simply removed by applying a little force until the glue gave. I think that there was a bit of a socket left over that had to be filled and sanded once the launcher tubes were removed.

Here is the thread that contains some WIP shots of that project but unfortunately there does not appear to be any specific shots of the launcher tube removal amongst them.

Hope this helps some.
